Mutual Aid Monday

Mutual Aid Monday is a grassroots, mutual aid community in Denver founded in November 2020 by Kelsang Virya. We are composed of community members that care deeply for our neighbors experiencing homelessness. There are many ways in which we are aiming to be in solidarity with our unhoused neighbors.

Monday Nights

Serving a community meal every Monday night 4-7 PM at 14th and Bannock St, Denver. During this community meal, we can serve up to 400 neighbors. We also distribute heaters, insulation for tents, blankets, sleeping bags, clothing, hand warmers, toiletries, and more.

Sweeps

Providing coffee, hot cocoa, breakfast, and needed supplies when the City & County of Denver forcibly moves our unhoused neighbors. We also continue to advocate for the end of these traumatic displacements or "sweeps."

Tent-to-Tent Support

Visiting encampments through the Denver Metro area to check on the well-being of our unhoused neighbors. We provide nightly meals and supplies. During sever weather conditions, MAM provides a warming tent with food and gear while taking supplies out to individuals and camps to reduce suffering, loss of extremities to frostbite, and save lives.
